Allyson Payne is a resident of Athens, Alabama, with a deep passion for the arts (when she’s not busy teaching high school). Having spent several years editing creative arts journals and being actively involved in North Alabama’s vibrant theatre community, she has built strong connections with many talented individuals. As a writer herself, Allyson is inspired to create a platform to showcase the artistic talents of those around her. She is thrilled to present North Alabama Arts to the public and encourages readers to enjoy the work and consider submitting their own creations to the journal.

Sahana is a Huntsville transplant from Atlanta, Georgia and lover of live music. By day she can be found at the Marshall Space Flight center, by night at music venues all around town. She believes in the power of local music to bring different communities together and hopes to highlight the talented individuals involved in playing, recording, and organizing the sounds of the Huntsville scene through North Alabama Arts.
